Easter At Heritage

This Easter at Heritage, Pastor Jason Sharpe brought a powerful message from John 20:1-9 about the true meaning of the Resurrection — when what was dead is brought back to life. Life brings struggles, but we are faced with a choice: run to Jesus or run from Him. Pastor Jason reminded us through Peter’s story that even after failure, running to Jesus brings restoration and peace (“shalom” — flourishing, wholeness, and rest).

Through Scripture from Matthew 14, Ezekiel 36, and John 11, we explored the difference between striving in our own strength, asking for God’s help, and fully surrendering our lives to Christ.
